About
Our Mission
Emberville Wiki is built by players, for players. Our goal is to keep everything worth knowing about classes, inheritance, weapon combos, crafting, estate building and town rebuilding in one place that anyone can read for free, without wading through ad-stuffed pages or copied marketing text.
Because the game is still in Early Access, we mark clearly what Cygnus Cross has confirmed, what has only been shown in trailers and previews, and what remains unannounced. Where official numbers do not exist yet we say so instead of inventing values, and we revisit pages as the build changes.
About Emberville
Emberville is a pixel-art dark fantasy action RPG from independent Irish studio Cygnus Cross. You wake without memories inside the Vitromotus, a magical prison built to hold unwanted elements, and discover that dying there no longer sticks. Fight your way through procedurally shaped depths, inherit abilities from one class into another, and turn a ruin back into a town one rescued survivor at a time.
About Emberville Wiki
Beginner-First Guides
Start with the first-hour route through the Vitromotus: how the death-and-return loop actually works, what the playable prologue demo lets you keep, and which early systems are worth your time.
Vitromotus Dungeon Runs
How expeditions into the magical prison are structured, why dying sends you back rather than ending the run, and how to read a biome before it punishes a careless build.
Classes & Skill Inheritance
Class swapping explained, plus the inheritance system that lets active and passive abilities learned on one leveled class carry into the next. Includes what Cygnus Cross has shown of the Knight.
Weapons & Combo Chains
The two-button combat base, weapon-bound combo strings, and how chaining attack types turns an opening into real damage. Weapon and armor tracks also feed new class unlocks.
Crafting, Farming & Estate
Gathering, farming and crafting skills, the stations and recipes they open, and how to lay out your estate so storage, workbenches and crops sit on a route that saves time between runs.
Villagers, Lore & Updates
Every survivor you pull out of the prison brings a trade, a questline and a story. We also track the kymia lore behind the Vitromotus and the Early Access roadmap after the October 27, 2026 launch.
